Warranty
ROSSIGNOL AUSTRALIA – LIMITED WARRANTY
This Limited Warranty is provided by Rossignol Australia Pty Ltd ("Rossignol", "we", "us", or "our") and applies only to Rossignol products (the “Product” or “Products”) sold in Australia through our official website or authorised Australian retailers.
Australian Consumer Law Notice:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Warranty Coverage:
Subject to the conditions outlined below, Rossignol warrants to the original purchaser that its Products will be free from defects in materials or workmanship for two (2) years from the date of delivery, when accompanied by valid proof of purchase.
This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
Exclusions:
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from impact, misuse, abuse, neglect, or crashes;
- Modifications or unauthorised repairs;
- Theft, loss, or natural disasters;
- Normal wear and tear, including damage from rocks, rails, stumps, or ski-to-ski contact;
- Improper binding mounting, adjustment, or failure due to chairlift breakage;
- Use of unapproved solvents or adhesives;
- Products purchased second-hand, received as gifts, or under commercial/business-to-business agreements;
- Bicycles, frames, forks, and bicycle components (these are covered by a separate Rossignol Bicycle Limited Warranty).
Any modification not expressly authorised in writing by Rossignol will void all warranty coverage.
Warranty Claims:
To make a claim, please contact the original place of purchase or submit a claim via our website. You must include:
- A copy of your purchase receipt clearly showing the date and retailer;
- Photos of the entire product and of the specific damage;
- A description of what occurred;
- Your full name, contact phone number, and street delivery address (no PO boxes).
In some cases, the Product may need to be returned for inspection. Shipping costs to Rossignol are the responsibility of the customer. If the claim is approved, we will repair or replace the Product at our discretion and return it to you free of charge. Repaired or replaced Products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
If the claim is denied and repair is possible, we will provide an estimate for repair costs.
Limitation of Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rossignol’s liability is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the Product under this warranty. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage.
